SEMI FLUSH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1) Follow steps 11-22 in the Stem Mount Installation Instructions.

STEM MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1) Removecanopyfromtopofxture.(Canopywillbeusedlaterin 

installation.)

2) Settoptrimpiecedownoverthreadedpipeontopofxturebody.

3) Slipwasherdownoverthreadedpipe.Screwcouplingontothreaded

pipe.

4) Passwirefromxturethoughstemandscrewstemtotopofxture.

NOTE: Threadlockingcompoundmustbeappliedtoallstemthreadsas

 notedwithsymbol(3)topreventaccidentalrotationofxtureduring

 cleaning,relamping,etc.

5) Passxturewirethroughremainingstemsandscrewstemstogether.

6) Threadonesmallthreadedpipeintoendofeachsmallloop.

7) Attachsmalllooptoendoflaststem.

8) Passthreadedpipeatendofsecondloopthroughholeincanopy.(Use

 canopyremovedinStep1)

9) Sliponelockwasheroverendofthreadedpipeprotrudingfrominside

canopy.

10)Attachchainlinktosmallloopatendofstemandtolooponcanopy.

11) TURNOFFPOWER.

IMPORTANT:Beforeyoustart,NEVERattemptanyworkwithout 

 shuttingofftheelectricityuntiltheworkisdone.

 a) Gotothemainfuse,orcircuitbreaker,boxinyourhome.Place

  themainpowerswitchinthe“OFF”position.

 b) Unscrewthefuse(s),orswitch“OFF”thecircuitbreakerswitch(s),

  thatcontrolthepowertothextureorroomthatyouareworking

on.

 c) Placethewallswitchinthe“OFF”position.Ifthexturetobe 

  replacedhasaswitchorpullchain,placethoseinthe“OFF”position.

12)Findtheappropriatethreadedholesonmountingstrap.Assemble 

 mountingscrewsintothreadedholes.

13)Attachmountingstraptooutletbox.(Screwsnotprovided).Mounting

 strapcanbeadjustedtosuitpositionofxture.

14)Makewireconnections(connectorsnotprovided.)Referencechart

 belowforcorrectconnectionsandwireaccordingly.

15)Pushxturetoceiling,carefullypassingmountingscrewsthroughholes

in canopy.

16)Securexturetoceilingwithknurlknobs.

17)Insertrecommendedbulbs.

18)Screwshortendofthreadedpipewithbeadintocouplingatbottomof

 xture.

19)Slipatwasherthenrubberwasheroverendofthreadedpipe.

20)Passholeindiffuseroverendofthreadedpipe.

21)Slipremainingrubberwasherthenatwasheroverendofthreaded

 pipe.Screwhexnutontothreadedpipe.

22)Passbottomtrimoverendofthreadedpipe.Screwnialontothreaded

 pipe.(DONOTovertighten.)
